JB Parker’s

In 2017, Davies Associates were appointed to act as Quantity Surveyors for Sarnia Hotels Group during the extensive redevelopment of the old Library Bar at Moore’s Hotel in the centre of St Peter Port. The Library Bar had been popular with locals and tourists alike for many years. However, the client could see the potential of the existing space and challenged the design team to create a modern and sophisticated bar and restaurant to serve the hotel for decades to come.

With exceptional planning and interior design, JB Parker’s was created. Not only was the existing bar and restaurant transformed, but a new wine cellar was added in the Basement.

The client required JB Parker’s to be open for the summer tourist season and so the works were completed to a very tight timescale.

Since opening in June 2018, the bar and restaurant has received fantastic reviews and is now one of the premier dining destinations in St Peter Port.
