Valley House

Davies Associates were appointed by the landlord of Valley House in late 2018 to act as Quantity Surveyors for the redevelopment of this 1970’s constructed office block. A long-standing tenant had recently vacated the building and the property was in need of extensive refurbishment prior to it being re-let. Following a strip out contract in late 2018, the refurbishment contract commenced in May 2019. 

During the early part of the project design, the building was to be split into multiple tenancies. However, a tenant for the whole building was quickly found and the design was amended to cater for this. The incoming tenant required an extensive fit-out of the office building to be undertaken and so Davies Associates were also appointed by the tenant to act as Quantity Surveyors for this element of the works.

The landlord’s works included the replacement of all mechanical and electrical services, as well as a full refurbishment of all office and core areas. This, coupled with the meticulous design of the fit-out has created an exciting and dynamic space for the new tenant.

As a result of the cost control measures implemented by Davies Associates, both the landlord’s and tenant’s contracts have been concluded within their original contract sums. 

The tenant moved into the newly refurbished office in September 2020.
